Arizona Girls Softball

Founded in 1974, we are a non profit (501C-3) recreational fast pitch softball league for girls ages 5-20. We welcome girls with no experience to girls that play club ball in all divisions. We have no boundaries and all of our games, and most practices are held on the ball fields at Desert Foothills Jr High. We have no affiliation with the school.

We have 5 divisions made up of:

1. T-ball/Coach Pitch (5-7)

2. Mini (kids pitch 8-10)

3. Minor (11-12)

4. Major (13-15 if not playing high school ball)

5. Senior (15-20)

League age is determined as follows:

Spring: age as of August 31 of that year   

We have two seasons, spring and fall. Registration for Spring season begins in January with tryouts and drafts in February. Everyone who registers will play. The seasons begins in March and runs to mid June. The senior season starts after high school ball is over. We offer a 18-20 game season with a double elimination tournament at the end.

Registration for Fall season begins in August. There are no tryouts or drafts in the Fall season. Coaches put together there own team which may be a partial or full team. Divisions for Fall are 7u, 10u, 12u, 14u and 20u. Age as of January 1 of current year. Girls who register with us but do not have a team will be placed on a partial team. We try to put together a 12-14 game schedule with a double elimination tournament at the end. The Fall season ends the weekend before Thanksgiving.
